How do I get involved in the community?
  • Join a committee.
  • Volunteer when we are looking for volunteers.
  • Be a good neighbour.
  • Pay your housing charge on time and in full each month.
  • Report any security problems you see.
  • Report any damages to co–op property you observe.
  • Keep your unit in a good state of repair, reporting all problems promptly to the Co–op’s maintenance staff.
  • When using the laundry room report any machines not working to maintenance.
  • Let us know you observe any lights out in the common areas.
  • Abide by the Pet By–Law.
  • Abide by the Parking By–law.
  • Do not disturb your neighbours with excessive noise.
  • If you have ideas on how we can improve things, let us know.
  • Attend all meetings of the General Members and take part in the decisions.
  • Come out and help on clean up days.
  • Join in on social activities.
  • Bring the children out to kids events organized by the Co–op.
  • Help organize social events.
  • Help with weeding and cutting of grass.
  • Pick up garbage when you see it.
  • Tend your garden and keep it neat and tidy.
How do I join a committee?

Watch for the Co–op monthly calendar where you will find notices of all meetings. Come out to the meetings, all members are welcome to attend.

How do I get on the board of directors?

The membership nominate and elect members to the Board of Directors once a year in September at the Annual General Members meeting. Let people know that you wish to run for election to the Board and ask someone to nominate you. Nomination forms are available at the office. Any member can run for election as long as they are a member in good standing, are not in debt, do not have an undischarged bankruptcy and are not mentally incompetent.
