It’s more than a place to live, it’s a community of people who have chosen to live and work together for the mutual benefit of the Co-op.

Our Mission:

No matter your social and economic background, age group, race, religion and culture, Northview Meadow Co-operative Homes will help house you. We want Northview Meadow Co-op to be a place where people feel safe and secure. Northview Meadow recognizes that every individual has special needs, and has the right to housing that meets those needs. People with handicaps are often isolated in our society because of their needs. The Co-op is committed to providing appropriate housing and support to all people who want to make Northview Meadow their home, and become involved within their community.

How does a Co-op work?

The Co-op relies on member involvement. Members make decisions for the Co-op in a free and open discussion. Once decisions are made, all members must help to carry it out. The Co-op will make sure the buildings are well maintained and well managed. The work involved in managing and operating the Co-op is not that difficult if the work is shared by all members.

  • Property Managers and other site staff are there to assist in many ways. That goes for answering any questions or concerns you may have with regards to anything from moving in, to questions about housing changes. If you have a concern feel free to call.
